Achievements of students of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering

Scientific competitions

In 2019, the National Innovation Competition, organized by QazIndustry, was held in Astana. The “Energy of the World” team, consisting of two 4th year students: Rakhimzhanov Zangar Kairatovich and Nurtai Saken Zholdasbekuly, under the leadership of acting associate Professor Kanat Makhmetovich Dyusenov, performed from the department of “Thermal Power Engineering”. The topic of the project is "Project - cavitation water treatment".

According to the results of the competition, the "Energy of the World" team took second place in the category "Best Innovative Project among Students" and won a prize - a certificate worth 1,000,000 tenge.

Republican Olympiads

On April 25-26, 2023, the second round of the Republican Student Olympiad in Energy was held at Shakarim University in Semey. At the Olympiad honor L.N. Gumilyov ENU was defended by students of the educational program "Thermal Power Engineering":

• • Kairbekov Azamat (3 course, B062-7117-20-01);
  • Nurtai Alikhan (4 course, B062-7117-19-02);
  • Ermekov Shyrak (4 course, B062-7117-19-02).

The leader of the team is M.G. Zhumagulov, PhD, Associate Professor.

According to the results of the Olympiad, ENU students took prizes in the individual championship: Kairbekov Azamat - 2nd place, Ermekov Shyrak - 3rd place; and in the team competition they received 2nd PLACE.

On April 21, 2022, the II round of the Republican Student Olympiad in Thermal Power Engineering was held at the NJSC "Almaty University of Energy and Communications named after Gumarbek Daukeev" (Almaty). The Olympiad mode is online. At the Olympiad, the honor of L.N. Gumilyov ENU was defended by students of the specialty "Thermal Power Engineering", who won prizes:

• • Abay Ansat Nurlanuly (В062-7117-19-01) – II place in the individual championship;
  • Kasymov Didar Azamatuly (В062-7117-19-02) – III place in the individual championship.

The head of the team was PhD, Associate Professor Zhumagulov M.G. and Senior Lecturer Omirbaeva A. A.

According to the results of the Olympiad, ENU students in the team competition received the 2nd PLACE in the republic.

On December 11, 2020, the II round of the Republican Student Olympiad in Energy was held at Shakarim University (Semey). The Olympiad mode is online. At the Olympiad, the honor of L.N. Gumilyov ENU was defended by students of the specialty "Thermal Power Engineering", who won prizes:

• • Toleuov Aslan Gadyluly (TE-42);
  • Nurlankyzy Assel (TE-41);
  • Sailaubek Sanjar Nurlanuly (TE-41).

The head of the team was PhD, Associate Professor Zhumagulov M.G. and Senior Lecturer Omirbaeva A. A.

According to the results of the Olympiad, ENU students in the individual championship won prizes: Toleuov Aslan - 2nd place, Nurlankyzy Assel - 3rd place; and in the team competition they got 2nd PLACE.

On April 04, 2018, the Republican Student Subject Olympiad in "Thermal Power Engineering" was organized within the walls of L.N. Gumilyov ENU. The Olympiad was attended by 7 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among those that train bachelors in the specialty 5B071700 "Thermal Power Engineering".

According to the results of the competition, students of L.N. Gumilyov ENU claimed the third place in the overall team competition. The absolute winners were the students of AUES.

On April 5-7, 2017, the II round of the Republican Student Olympiad in Energy was held at the Almaty University of Energy and Communications (Almaty). At the Olympiad, the honor of L.N. Gumilyov ENU was defended by students of the specialty "Thermal Power Engineering":

• • Qairatkyzy Agnur (TE-34);
  • Zhakupov Daulet (TE-34);
  • Malgazhdarov Alibek (TE-32).

The leader of the team is M.G. Zhumagulov, PhD, Associate Professor.

According to the results of the Olympiad, ENU students won prizes in the individual championship: Agnur Kairatkyzy - 1st place, Alibek Malgazhdarov - 3rd place; and in the team competition they got 1st PLACE.

On April 05-06, 2016, the Republican Subject Olympiad in "Thermal Power Engineering" was organized within the walls of L.N. Gumilyov ENU. The Olympiad was attended by 10 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among those that train bachelors in the specialty 5B071700 "Thermal Power Engineering".

According to the results of the competition, students of L.N. Gumilyov ENU claimed the third place in the overall team competition. The absolute winners were the students of AUES.

On April 16-17, 2015, the II round of the Republican Student Olympiad in Energy (Almaty) was held at the Almaty University of Energy and Communications. At the Olympiad, the honor of L.N. Gumilyov ENU was defended by students of the specialty "Thermal Power Engineering":

• • Pavel Vernickas (TE-22);
  • Aliya Adilkhanova (TE-23);
  • Sermukhanova Botagoz (ZHE-23).

The head of the team is Ph.D., Senior Lecturer of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering Zhumagulov M.G.

According to the results of the Olympiad, ENU students won prizes in the individual championship: Aliya Adilkhanova - 2nd place, Botagoz Sermukhanova - 3rd place, Pavel Vernitskas - 3rd place; and in the team competition they got 1st PLACE.

 

 

Achievements of the teaching staff of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering

 

Zhumagulov Mikhail Grigorievich, PhD, Associate Professor According to the results of 2021, Zhumagulov M.G. became the owner of the prestigious title in the field of higher education "BEST UNIVERSITY TEACHER of 2021". The medal and certificate were presented personally by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.K. Aimagambetov. More details.
	Almigazin Altai Shurumbaevich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Participant of Expo 2017, presented an exhibit: Green Heating Systems. The exhibit was exhibited on the first floor of the Nur-Alem Kazakh pavilion.
Sadykova Samal Bekbolatovna, PhD, Senior Lecturer A student of group B062-7117-19-02 Nurtay Alikhan in the 2022-2023 academic year won the second place at the Republican competition of student research works under the leadership of Sadykova S.B.
	Omirbayeva Aizhan Omirbaykyzy, Master's Degree, Senior Lecturer In the 2021-2022 academic year, a student of the TE-35 group, Bekzhanova Akerke, won the third prize at the Republican Competition of Student Research Works under the guidance of A.O. Omirbayeva.
