Sultanov Timur Tuleugalievich – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of «Organization of Transportation, Traffic, and Transport Operation» at the Faculty of Transport and Energy of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
Awarded the Rector's Certificates of Honor in 2020 and 2022. In 2023, he received an Honorary Diploma from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2001, he graduated with honors from Sh.E. Yessenov Aktau State University, specializing in 270240 – «Ship Power Plants and Equipment», earning the qualification of «Marine Engineer».
His academic career began in 2001 as a trainee teacher at the Department of Energy and Transport of Sh.E. Yessenov Aktau State University. In September 2003, he became a full-time lecturer at the same department.
From December 1, 2003, to December 1, 2006, he pursued a targeted full-time doctoral program at the Kazakh Main Academy of Architecture and Construction (KazGASA, Almaty).
In December 2007, he successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in 010204 – Mechanics of Deformable Solids at the U.A. Dzholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Engineering. His dissertation topic: «Static and Dynamic Stress-Strain State of the Anisotropic «Slab-Base» System». Scientific supervisor: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Masanov Zhailau Kabylbekovich (Almaty).
From 2008 to 2012, he served as Head of the Departments of «Transport and Organization of Transportation» and «Marine Engineering and Technology» at the Institute of Marine Technologies, Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yessenov (Aktau).
From 2012 to 2014, he worked as Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Transport and Energy, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana).
From April to November 2014, he was the Chief Expert of the Office of Information and Analytical Support at the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility, under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana).
From November 2014 to September 2016, he worked as a Senior Researcher at the Research Institute of the National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (Astana).
From September 2016 to August 2023, he served as Deputy Dean for Scientific Work at the Faculty of Transport and Energy, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana).
In September 2023, he successfully passed the competition for the position of Head of the Department of «Organization of Transportation, Traffic, and Transport Operation».
Author of over 100 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 2 Scopus articles, 4 copyright certificates for inventions.
