BRANCHES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STANDARDIZATION, CERTIFICATION AND METROLOGY
The Department of Standardization and Certification has three branches: RSE "KazInMetr" KTRM MIR RK, RSE "KazInSt" KTRM MIR RK (Regulation N ENU 53-14 of 05/28/14), LLP "AstanaKurylysErvice").In cooperation with the branches of the department, OP plans are developed and approved. On the basis of the branches of the department, research and development is carried out. The topics of research and development are coordinated with the management of the branches. In accordance with the topics proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the topics of master's theses and theses were approved.
The laboratory equipment of the branch of RSE "KazInMetr" KTRM MIR RK is one of the most advanced in the post-Soviet space, as well as in foreign countries. The branch has at its disposal standards and reference equipment, measuring and testing equipment, an electronic catalog "State catalog "State Standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan", with the use of which master's degree works of undergraduates are performed. Rental of premises, equipment and measuring instruments of branches for research and development is provided free of charge.
In the process of studying at the branch of KazInMetr RSE, undergraduates acquire knowledge about the current state and directions of development of the national reference base and metrological support in the republic. They determine the metrological characteristics of the systems, calculate the technical reliability of the system, select the necessary modern equipment for a specific process, work with reference complexes, precision instruments to assess the quality of measurement; they solve scientific and research tasks on the development and creation of new standards and precision measuring instruments (the website of RSE KazInMetr, and the Department of SIS of L.Gumilev ENU)
Together with the branches, annual scientific and technical seminars, conferences, round tables are held for the World Standardization Day (October 14), World Metrology Day (May 20), etc. with the participation of undergraduates of the department and representatives of the branches. The list of joint events is posted on the website of the Faculty of Transport and Energy in the "News" section.
The branches of the department provide invaluable assistance in organizing and conducting internships for students and undergraduates.
Traditionally, the leadership of KTRM (Dugalov Galymzhan Tlektesovich – 2017-2018, Kazybayeva Shynar Sovetovna - 2019, Meirbayeva Galiya-Banu Ondasynovna - 2020) is the chairman of the SAC for our educational programs. The Department, together with employers, organizes round tables on the development and examination of educational programs. So, employees of the RSE "KazInSt" and "KazInMetr" Karimova Gulmayda Konysbekovna, Baizakova Arai Stanova, Bekturganova Gulmira Kairovna, Veretelnikov Nikita Viktorovich, Suyeubaeva Gulaykhan Altynbayevna, Kalykov Yerdos Kanatovich, etc. They took an active part in the development and examination of educational programs. Many of them are our graduates from yesterday.
Classes at the branches of the department contribute to the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and the replacement of educational conditions with real production conditions.

Personnel training is carried out by using the laboratory facilities and branches of the department at enterprises that are equipped with modern devices.
In order to strengthen the practical orientation of the study of disciplines, employees of KTRM MIR RK, RSE "Kazstandart" KTRM MIR RK, Republican Academy for Technical Regulation, Standardization, Certification and Metrology were involved in conducting classes at the department: Meirbaeva G.-B.O., Aimagambetova R.Zh., Abayuly B., Daribaeva A.A.
The department has a branch in the RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology" KTRM MIR RK, on the basis of which students and undergraduates undergo industrial, pre-graduate and research practice. The purpose of creating a branch of the department is to improve the training of qualified specialists, strengthen the practical orientation of the educational process, as well as strengthen joint scientific research. Specialists of RSE "KazStandart" recommended to make changes to the content of some disciplines, in particular, the content of the discipline "Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (EAEU)" should be strengthened taking into account the new regulatory documents of the EAEU, as well as when developing syllabuses of the disciplines "Development of elements of environmental management systems", "Standardization of resource conservation", "Energy management in industry" should be taken into account goals and principles of sustainable development.
